Seven down,thirteen to go!

Yesterday morning I developed a high fever and was rather painful when I fed Millie which rang some alarm bells.So Kenichi took me,with the girls in tow,to see the doctor at the clinic where Annie and Millie were born.And as I had guessed,I had developed mastitis.The treatment at the clinic is a course of antibiotics given intravenously over a five day period.So I am at the clinic until Sunday in a lovely private room and receiving excellent care.Millie is with me and in 7th heaven as she adores all the attention from the nursing staff and has me on tap 24 hours a day.I had 4 drips yesterday and four more today and feel much better.But I am beginning to feel like a pin cushion.But its a small price to pay for being looked after so well and having the excuse to do absolutely nothing!So seven drips down and yep,thirteen to go...my poor hands(and veins).

Changing the rules.

By now,many of you will have come across the recent craze in "Pay it Forward Giveaway" blog entries.It is a great idea,lots of fun and I have joined the bandwagon after reading all about it on a friend's blog.

So I am here to join in ,but with a twist.As many people who read blogs do not necessarily have their own, I wanted to try to include everyone.So,I am offering to send gifts to the first 3 people who blog but if you don't have a blog yourself(or would prefer),the "pay forward" part will instead be done by giving a donation to a charity of your choice.I hope this meets with approval.

So the rules for those of you who haven't come across this before;

The first 3 people to leave a comment on this post will receive a gift from me some time this year. There's a small catch. You must post this same thing (Paying it Forward Giveaway) on your own blog and then come back and leave a comment telling me you're in, along with a link! OR,as explained above,you must come back and leave a comment telling me what charity you have donated too(and no,don't need to know the amount of course!).

And about the gift...it will not be homemade(as if!) and for those of you living in Japan,my in-laws are farmers so I have quite a lot of vegetables at my disposal.For those of you elsewhere,I may even take requests;)

Looking back.

It's coming up to 10pm and all nursing mothers should be fast asleep and awaiting the midnight feed.Instead,I am catching up on my blog and ,at the same time waiting to hear news from my friend in the UK announcing the birth of her twins.So I am multi-tasking at night....impressed?

I have spent the day compiling a montage of our snap shots from our UK trip and at last have finished.I spent more time than anything on deciding on the music so no complaints please;I was desperate by the end and the songs chosen just seemed to fit.

Apologies to the many people who do not appear in this montage(including the fore mentioned mother of the twins and family amongst others);I forgot my camera on many occasions,was too lazy to take photos myself as someone else always seemed to have a camera or just took video footage instead.So silly of me and next time I promise to stick to the faithful "digi-came",as it is called here in Japan.

Anyway,here you go.A few of the best moments of our stay in England that I managed to get on film(figuratively speaking!).Hope you enjoy it.

Edited to Add...Congratulations on the birth of Harry and Megan,who arrived long before I worked out how to get that damn montage working;)
