Happy Moo Year

For those of you who may not know and think I am just being stupid with my titles,I must mention that 2009 is Year of the Cow...

So,Happy New Year! It is still before 7pm on New Years Eve here in England but it is next year in Japan and as half my heart is there,I am feeling very "New yearish".Let's hope that 2009 is a peaceful year for us all.

All is well here in the UK although rather chilly with frosty days and nights. But with central heating, who the hell cares when it is cold outside??!Annie loves the cold weather and I have to say that I do like it too.We are hoping for snow and the weather forecast is promising a bit next week. However,as any Brit will know, the weather forecasters in this country are never to be believed so I am not holding my breath nor telling Annie about the promise of a wee bit of the white stuff.

We had a fantastic Christmas and all the kiddies got on really well with lots of laughter and fun plus the odd tear jerking moment;just how Christmas should be.And a real, proper needle shedding Christmas tree to boot;).Annie is loving her life in the UK and has settled in with ease. She is eating like a horse(ditto me) and we are keeping in touch with Kenichi on a regular basis via Skype.Millie is being Millie and a sweetie.I am just enjoying being with mum, eating well(no,I am not food obsessed but nothing like a good sausage or three) and starting to catch up with friends in the coming weeks. So much to do and so little time!

Well,Emilie has started making "feed me" noises even though I only fed her an hour ago(so I am not the only one obsessed with food then) so that it is all.I leave you with a few photos from over Christmas of my 2 and my gorgeous nephews Dominic and Eddie.

Kiddies in their PJ's and being allowed to open one present each on Christmas Eve.

Christmas Day in the morning and Annie blocks her ears as Millie complains very loudly.

Waiting for the FOOD.
