The Art of Eating Senbei
Senbei are Japanese rice crackers. There are many types and many ways to eat them and all seemingly easy. But senbei break and crumble so eating them without creating a mess,is in a way, an "art". My life here in Japan is like a senbei ; seeming rather bland, but in fact it is a little more complex and delicate...

Wow that is fast. I thought the Japanese ones were fast as the American ones are so very slow (about a month).
I renewed mine in October - took 5 weeks. Was Millie's so fast because it's a first one? Or is the UK always that fast?
Wow that's excellent Marianne! Noah got his American passport freakishly fast too, in about 10 days. Right on for the UK being speedy with the passports! : ) Yay Millie! :D
Wow that was quick!!
I'm honestly very tempted to get a UK passport I believe I'm elegable since my father was still a UK citizen when I was born..
Getting it will require getting lots of things like my fathers birth certificate and parents marriage and divorce certificates which I've heard takes forever...
But it would be nice thing to have for after retirement!!! EU :D :D :D
Wow, that is really fast!! I got my new Australian passport really quickly too. It definitely takes longer to get your passport if you apply for it in Australia though... special overseas treatment, maybe!?!
(When I have kids) People always told me to get their Aussie passport first and then apply for their Japanese one so that their name will be spelt correctly on their Japanese passport. Were you able to have Millie's name written correctly on her Japanese passport without already having her British one?
Rule Britannia!
Hx
Makes you proud to be a British Subject!!! Mum
Wow that is fast. I have to ask you though was it an arm and a leg. I have to get my kids' done, but they were 18,000 each a few months ago, was wondering if with the strength of the yen they have cvome down in price at all??
4 x 18,000 is a bit steep when we are not even gpoing anywhere?
And yes!! Rule Britania indeed.
